A moment of pure connection and profound release. Hasret—the Turkish word for longing, deep yearning, or homesickness—finds its quiet resolution here. This piece captures the bittersweet beauty of missing a community of kindred spirits, and the immense grace of finally finding it.(Names.org)

Inspired by a fleeting, magical season when old friends re-emerged alongside new, instantly beloved souls, this painting honors the safe spaces we build together. For an immigrant far from home, the ache for a close-knit circle of women is a familiar feeling. This artwork celebrates a brief, brilliant glimpse in time when daily life was wrapped in love, understanding, and shared sisterhood. It is a tribute to the universe gifting us the people who make us feel instantly at home. Celebrate your safe spaces, especially your friends. 💌🫂🫶🏼🧿
